Bullet journaling is a popular method of keeping a daily journal. It’s also known as “bujo” or “bullet journaling,” and it’s used by people all over the world to keep track of their thoughts, feelings, and goals.

What makes bullet journaling so popular? The answer is simple: it works! When you use this method to write in your journal every day, you start to notice patterns in how you think and feel—and those patterns can help you figure out what you need to do next. Plus, if you keep track of your goals for each day, week, month, or year, then you’ll be able to see how much progress you’re making toward achieving them.

Bullet Journal Printables PDF

This page contains free downloadable PDFs of some of the most useful pages in my Bullet Journal. These are printable inserts that make it easy to keep track of the things you need in your daily life. They can be printed on any standard printer (inkjet or laser), and punched into any notebook or planner you like. If you don’t have a notebook yet, don’t worry! I also have free downloadable printables for making your own notebook here.

What is a Bullet Journal?

Bullet Journal is a flexible and forgiving organizational system. It’s easy to make mistakes, so don’t worry about messing up. The more you use your journal, the better you will get at it.

Bullet Journal helps you be more productive by giving you freedom of choice in how to use it and what tools to use in it. It also gives you a sense of accomplishment when you see all the things checked off from your daily tasks or monthly goals!

The beauty of Bullet Journaling is that it’s not just for productivity nerds or for people who like to plan out their lives. Anyone can do this, even if they’re not very good at planning things out ahead of time or even if they don’t want to spend money on fancy supplies! All you need is an ordinary notebook (you can even use one from school), some pens or pencils and an eraser 🙂

What Supplies do I need to start a Bullet Journal?

To begin your Bullet Journal, you will need:

  • A journal. There are many types of journals to choose from—even blank notebooks can work—but I recommend getting a decorated one that is special just for your Bullet Journal. You can find them in any store that sells school supplies, or online at places like Amazon.
  • Pencils and pens. Pens are preferable to pencils since they make writing easier, but either will work fine if you prefer using them over pens (I use both). I recommend getting plain black pens for your daily entries because they look professional and won’t distract from the design on the pages of your notebook; however if you want to add color then colored pencils are also an option!
  • A ruler or straight-edge if possible; this makes drawing lines easier if you’re working with one side of the page instead of two separate ones like most planners do nowadays.”

Bullet Journal Spreads and Templates

The following are examples of some sample journal spreads:

  • A monthly spread. This can be used to track your progress with goals or tasks that you want to accomplish in a given month.
  • An index page, which is a reference page that lists all of the bullet journal entries in one place for easy access. Indexes make it easier when looking up specific items later on (for example, if you want to find all of your information on meditation). Index pages also serve as great spaces for keeping track of important information about yourself, such as birthdays and anniversaries for family members and friends.

Bullet Journal Layout Ideas

  • Bullet Journal Layout Ideas

There are a plethora of different layouts you can use for your bullet journal, depending on what you need it for. For example, if you want to be more creative, try a monthly layout that includes quotes or inspirational words and pictures. Or if you are more interested in planning out your week ahead of time and keeping track of how much time you spend working out each day, then perhaps consider a weekly layout that has space for meal-planning and other habits like meditation or cleaning house (or even packing). After all, there are no rules when it comes to designing your own bullet journal!

How to DIY your own notebook!

The most important thing to remember when making your own notebook is that it’s supposed to be fun. The process should not feel like a chore, or else it can get overwhelming and the whole point of making one will be lost. You don’t have to go all out with some elaborate design, but if you want a plain notebook with no images on it and just a simple cover, then go for it!

  • Paper (you can use whatever kind of paper suits your fancy)
  • Binding tape (this comes in many different colors)
  • A ruler or straight edge (to make sure everything lines up properly)
