Encyclopedia of Science Fiction is a book written by John Clute and Peter Nichols. The book is a reference work on science fiction, first published in 1993. It describes and provides short quotes on writers, books, films, comics and games deemed to be within the genre of science fiction. The first edition had over 2,500 entries; the second edition over 3,000.
