Tegele Bahar is a classic Tigrigna novel written by Dr. Berhanu Nega and published by the Eritrean Cultural Association. The Tigrigna language is one of two official languages of Eritrea, spoken natively by the Tigray people who inhabit the northern and central highlands of Eritrea. In the novel sexual exploitation, polygamy, deception and political intrigue are prominent themes.
